Do you offer samples of your products?

Yes! We have sample sizes of loose mineral and liquid foundations for purchase so customers can economically try several foundation colors before committing to full size. To purchase the foundation samples click on Shop by Type and then proceed to the Face category to the sample sizes listing.

I am a blogger. How can we partner together?

Thank you for your interest in partnering with our brand! We partner with bloggers that have a specific following that we are trying to target. An audience of ethnic consumers interested in natural living and mineral or organic makeup are our target consumers. Are your products tested on animals?

No. Our products are not tested on animals and we are PETA certified cruelty free.

What is the difference between natural, organic, and vegan?

There is no definition in the cosmetics industry for the word natural. Natural just means comes from the earth. However, not all natural ingredients are the safest for cosmetic use as many can still be considered carcinogens. Organic is also an unregulated term in the cosmetics industry. The USDA has regulated the food industry by use of the Certified Organic Term. LUV + CO products are between 70 – 90% organic which according to USDA would be “made with organic ingredients”. Vegan products are void of any animal by products including beeswax.

Are your products gluten free?

All of our products are gluten-free with the exception of our Luvee Duvee Lip Crayons. They include a wheat germ vitamin E oil in the ingredients.

Are your products vegan?

Many of LUV +CO products are vegan including the Gel Eye Liner, Loose Foundations, Nail Polish, Luvee Duvee Lip Crayons, Loose Pigments, and Liquid Foundation. The LUV + CO lip gloss is vegetarian not vegan due to the ingredient beeswax. For other products please see the product page under Shop by Type.

Which products are organic or made with organic ingredients?

LUV carries several products that are made with organic ingredients (between 70- 90% organic). Examples of products include the Organic Make-up Remover, LUV Liquid Foundations, LUV Ladies Lip Gloss, DaBalm BC Crème, and the Gel Eye Liner. What ingredients are your products “free from”?

LUV + CO. products are free from talc, parabens, bismuth oxychloride, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil & petroleum, and synthetic dyes (with the exception of nail polish).

Who are your products made for?

Every woman will love our products! They are high quality and highly pigmented to suit the needs of all women. However, our foundation products are specifically formulated for women of color in terms of undertone and hues. We purposefully limit white base powders in our product formulations to allow true color matching and to eliminate the ashy or gray look.

What is the expiration date of your products?

100% loose minerals do not have an expiration date as preservatives are not needed. Any product in a liquid or cream form shelf life is between 12 – 18 months as we sell natural products.
